The Abuja International
Film Festival 2004 is an initiative of the NAFIFO VENTURES
an organization registered under the corporate affairs commission
BN LIS 001064 of 17th march 2004.
The Festival is affiliated
to four major international festivals; DURBAN INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL, DAHLEGONA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL GEORGIA,
ZIMBABWE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AND COMMONWEALTH INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL.
Fidelis Duker {Festival

Fidelis Duker is the festival
Director 1st Abuja international film and Video Festival 2004.
A graduate of Book Publishing from the prestigious Yaba College
of Technology.
He has been involved in
over 35 home video films in the last 15 years, some of these
video films include BLOOD BROTHERS, KING OF MONEY, NEMESIS,
SCANDALS, DESTINED TO DIE, MONICA LEWINSKY, PURE LOVE, DOCTOR
DEATH, REJECTED, HOT PASSION, NIGHT NURSES, IMAGES{SERIES
ON HIV/AIDS}, MONICA LEWINSKY.
Mr. Duker is also the
National President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, the
only association protecting the interest of all television
and film directors in Nigeria. He is an award winning film
director who has attended and participated in festival worldwide;
some of these festivals include BRUSSELLES INTERNATIONAL FILM
FESTIVAL, DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST, BERLIN INT FILM
FESTIVAL,SITHENGI FILM FEST, PAN AFRICAN FILM FEST CARLIFONIA,
MILAN FILM FESTIVAL, COMMONWEALTH FILM FESTIVAL MANCHESTER
UK, ZIMBABWE INT FILM FESTIVAL.
The Directors Guild Nigeria
of which he is the current National President is affiliated
to NATIONAL FILM AND VIDEO CENSORS BOARD, NIGERIAN FILM CORPORATION
AND THE NIGERIAN COPYRIGHT COMMISSION.
Ebiere Ajibola-Bodude

Ebiere is a graduate of
journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism Ogba.
A trained event manager who was the coordinator of the first
WALK AGAINST AIDS campaign held in 1997 under the auspices
of WALK AGAINST AIDS ORGANISATION.
A widely traveled professional
who has also attended film festivals around the world like
the SITHENGI FILM AND TV MARKET, ZIMBABWE INTERNATIONAL FILM
FESTIVAL.
Ebiere is also an actress
and a producer with the following films to her credit like
BLOOD BROTHERS, IMAGES, MAN OF GOD, and NIGHT NURSES.
Peace Anyiam Fiberesima

A trained lawyer with
vast experience in event organization. Peace is the National
Vice president of the ASSOCIATION OF MOVIE PRODUCERS {AMP}
and the Director of Finance FILMMAKERS CORPORATIVE OF NIGERIA.
She has produced over
10 video films {FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN, SONS OF THUNDER, MESSENGER
OF DOOM, PREACHERS DAUGHTER, MESS NA DISEASE, BLIND DATE,
IMAGES}.
Her films have been screened
at major international film festival like the BERLIN INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL, SITHENGI FILM AND TV MARKET, DURBAN INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL.
Gregory Ayo Samuel {Festival

A Sociology graduate of
the Bayero University Kano. Gregory is involved in the marketing
of the festival. A trained marketer who is involved in the
marketing of events.
He was involved in the
marketing and packaging of WALK AGAINST AIDS, NOT MY WILL
PREMIERE all held in 1997.
Ekanem Williams {Festival

Ekanem is a trained actor
with bias for film production. Ekanem is involved in the packaging
and marketing of various events.
Ekanem has acted in the
following films IMAGES, REJECTED, DOCTOR DEATH among others.
A member of the ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA.
Lekan Ayinde {Festival

Mr Ayinde is an experienced
and talented film and Video Practitioner who has been involved
in the production of over 20 home video films amongst them
DOCTOR DEATH, REJECTED, NIGHT NURSES, HOT PASSION, and SCANDALS.
Lekan Ayinde is a member
of the Association of Production Managers and Association
of Movie Producers of Nigeria.
Temitope B. Duker {Festival
Coordinator}

A graduate of Television
and Book Publishing from the Yaba College of Technology. Tope
has been involved in numerous television and film production.
Tope had a stint with
the Nigerian Television of Authority where she worked for
a couple of years before she went into private practice.
She is the producer of
the following films; HOT PASSION, FORGOTTEN, OGAJU, REJECTED,
ENEMY WITHIN. A talented scriptwriter who has written over
25 television film projects to his credit.
A widely traveled film
producer who has been to the United State of America, Germany
and South Africa for film relevant events in the last three
years.
Forster Ojeaburu {Festival
Programmer}

A graduate of theatre
Arts from the University Of Benin in Nigeria. Fosters has
devoted a large part of his life to issues bordering on the
entertainment industry in Nigeria with special interest in
the Nigerian Television and Film Industry.
A versatile actor and
scriptwriter who has written several TV and film scripts that
have been produced on video and film.
Olumide Bola – Akindele
{Festival Officer TECH}

A trained videographer
with over 20 video feature films to his credit amongst them
IBINABO and DEAD ALIVE.
He cut his teeth in the
trade having worked with one of Nigeria’s celebrated
TV Producer/Directors Uncle Bayo Awala. He is in charge of
the technical of the festival.
