The Abuja International Film Festival is an initiative of the NAFIFO VENTURES an organization registered under the corporate affairs commission BN LIS 001064 of 17th march 2004.
The Festival is affiliated to four major international festivals; DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, DAHLEGONA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL GEORGIA, ZIMBABWE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AND COMMONWEALTH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
It's an event that must be supported by government and the Nigerian film corporation is solidly behind the
Abuja film festival and all other such events.
