Tonight at the dinner table, my son was telling me about a free software program that can be downloaded and installed that will allow you download music files using a file sharing program. Supposedly the network contains millions of files and works with both Windows XP and Windows Vista. I have started doing some research about the program and have read some good reviews about Ares. There are a number of user testimonials that make me think it works well. I am now looking for the available choices on where to download ares. I would like to download it and see how well it works.
Is France Tracking File Sharing Users?
I read something that I am finding very hard to believe. Is France tracking file sharing users? I read an article that told that France is actually tracking file sharing users. I just find this so hard to believe. The record companies have been given the legal right to track and record users of peer to peer filesharing programs that share more than 50 files in 24 hours. Apparently people are intentionally downloading exactly 51 files every 24 hours to protest this act. The record companies are able to hold onto the records to use in legal proceedings at a later date. I doubt this will stop the French file sharers.
